Mikel Wilkins is joining us to provide an overview of how SARA is prioritizing implementation of nature-based solutions throughout the San Antonio River watershed, informed by water quality modeling. The presentation will discuss the identification and development of multi-benefit project concepts within the Leon Creek, Salado Creek and Upper San Antonio River watersheds. Mr. Wilkins will also discuss how these planning efforts complement ongoing City of San Antonio Phase 4 Community Area Plans, enhancements to the Westside Creeks Ecosystem Restoration project, and the overarching goal to address impairments in streams and rivers throughout the basin.
