This is a citywide effort to remove trash, reduce pollution, and better understand how major events impact our waterways. SPLASh excited to host multiple cleanup events near the Monument Inn Restaurant and are grateful for your support in making a positive impact while contributing valuable data to this effort.\n \nCleanup Details: \n\n	Location: Monument Inn, 4406 Independence Parkway, La Porte, TX 77571\n	Date: April 11, 2026\n	Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n\n \nVolunteer Opportunities\nWe have two ways to participate:\n\n	General Cleanup Volunteer – Help remove trash; no data collection required.\n	Data Collection Volunteer – Assist staff with a guided trash transect to collect and itemize debris. If you wish to participate as a Data Collection Volunteer, please arrive by 9:00 AM. No prior training needed\n\n \nWhat to Bring\n\n\n	Clothes you can get dirty (long pants recommended, weather permitting)\n	Closed-toed shoes\n	Refillable water bottle\n	Sunscreen & bug spray (also available onsite)\n\n \nWe also ask that you complete the liability waiver and registration ahead of time, using the links below. \n \nComplete Your Liability Waiver \nRegister for the April 11th Cleanup\n \nPlease note that access to the cleanup area requires walking over rocks to reach the beach. This can take some coordination, and staff will be available to help guide and assist along the safest pathway.
