Ready to engage in public policy but not sure where to begin?\nTexas Impact will refresh our advocacy knowledge and set goals for engaging our faith\ncommunities around issues that impact the planet and its peoples. Be ready for midterm\nelections and the upcoming Texas legislative session by sharpening your skills and deepening\nyour understanding with fellow faith-based, nonpartisan advocates. This workshop will be led by\nTexas Impact staff member, Rebecca McIlwain. She will bring practical steps to advance your\ncongregations' involvement as well as a clear description of the state of affairs and the role of\ncivic engagement for people of faith.
