Event Description
Join Karla Klay, Executive Director of Artist Boat, to learn about Artist Boat’s effort to conserve 1,400 acres on West Galveston Island. Since 2010, 1,039 acres have been conserved through 15 transactions totaling $25 million dollars. This effort has taken a village of partners at Federal, State, and local levels.
Bringing together these partners, as well as members of the community, demonstrates how there is a conservationist in everyone. Hear from Karla how you can support the work of Artist Boat.
