Join HPB along Hunting Bayou to build out two swales with hundreds of native plants.

Wetlands are essential in stormwater capture and improving water quality.

We will be meeting near 5005 Falls St, Houston 77026

Start time is 9 a.m. and should last about 3 hours, until noon.

You will need to park along Leffingwell and Falls Street

You will need to bring a refillable water bottle with you (refills available on site).

Please note that you may get muddy/dirty, and we recommend wearing clothes that can handle the task. Gloves and shovel will be provided; rubber boots are recommended but any closed toed shoes will work.

This volunteer event is made possible by a Watersheds Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under cooperative agreement 84044301 to Restore America’s Estuaries.
