Looking to meet others who care about sustainability, climate and the future of Houston? Join Citizens’ Environmental Coalition for a relaxed happy hour designed to bring together the next generation of environmental leaders, professionals and changemakers.
Whether you work in sustainability, energy, urban planning, public policy or simply care about creating a more resilient city, this is a chance to connect with people who share your interests and values. Meet new friends, exchange ideas and discover how others are shaping Houston’s future in an informal, welcoming setting. Come solo or bring a friend. You’ll leave with new connections, fresh perspective and a stronger sense of community.
Payment: Everyone will pay for their own drink and food directly to the restaurant.

Who should attend?
This happy hour is designed for early-career professionals, emerging leaders and concerned community members who care about sustainability, climate and the future of Houston. Whether you work in the field or are simply interested, you’re welcome here.
Do I need to be a CEC member to attend?
No. Everyone is welcome. CEC members can register using the Member Ticket, and non-members can register using the Guest Ticket.
What is Citizens’ Environmental Coalition (CEC)?
CEC is a Houston-based nonprofit that brings together nonprofits, companies, public agencies and community members to advance sustainability and resilience. Our events are designed to help people connect, learn and collaborate.
What should I expect?
This is a casual, informal gathering focused on meeting new people and building community. There is no formal program, just good conversation and the opportunity to connect with others who share your interests.
Is it okay to come alone?
Absolutely. Many people attend solo, and happy hours are one of the easiest ways to meet others in the CEC community.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. Most attendees wear casual or business-casual attire.
Are food and drinks included?
Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages directly from the venue.
How can I stay involved with CEC after the event?
You can subscribe to our free newsletter, attend future events, or become a member for as little as $5 per month to deepen your involvement and connect with the community year-round.
