Join us to celebrate Citizens' Environmental Coalition's 55 year anniversary serving Houston's environmental community!
In recognition of CEC's pivotal role fostering collaboration with the region's numerous non-profits, environmental organizations and concerned citizens', we're hosting a special gathering in honor of World Environment Day, which was established by the UN in the early 1970s to raise awareness about environmental issues.
The theme this year is the urgent need for climate action, which is more evident than ever. With that in mind, we're thrilled to be hosting Luana Rubin, a prominent designer and artist, who will be giving a presentation on "Art & Activism: Creating, Promoting and Supporting Activism Through Art." Luana is traveling from Colorado, where she is the owner of eQuilter.com and is now turning her focus to environmental and conservation issues.
