Environmental Book Club
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Central
This month, we will be discussing Carbon: The Book of Life by Paul Hawken, which explores carbon, an element that is responsible for all life on our planet, but also, drives climate change.
Join the Citizens’ Environmental Coalition (CEC) Environmental Book Club for an engaging evening of conversation, learning, and community connection.
Our bi-monthly book club brings together environmentally minded Houstonians to discuss books exploring sustainability, climate change, environmental justice, public health, conservation, and the relationship between people and the planet. Whether you work in the environmental field or are simply curious and passionate about these topics, all are welcome.
This is a community-oriented discussion designed to encourage thoughtful dialogue, new perspectives, and meaningful connections across Houston’s environmental community.
Free to join. Participants are encouraged to support the hosting venue by purchasing a drink or snack.
