The Citizens' Environmental Coalition (CEC) Working Groups are the collaborative engines that drive our mission forward. Each year, we bring together community members, technical experts, and passionate advocates to tackle our region's most pressing issues—from climate resilience and strategic advocacy to community storytelling. Our 2026 agenda is ambitious, and we need your voice, expertise, and passion. We invite you to join a working group, collaborate on tangible projects, and help shape a more sustainable and equitable future for the Greater Houston region.

Building a community-driven data hub that makes environmental information accessible, equitable, and useful for all. In 2026, this group will advance the 2025 team’s work to implement a centralized, collaborative, web-based platform for lasting impact.

Advancing Houston’s transformation into a global model of urban resilience. In 2026, this group will build on 2025 efforts to implement key priorities from local resilience, climate, and justice plans.
