Join Houston Parks Board for this volunteer event at the Wipprecht Site along Hunting Bayou, located at 5105 Wipprecht Street, Houston, TX 77026, on December 12 from 9 AM -12 PM. Volunteers will be doing prairie restoration, while will include planting native forbs and grasses.
Please be sure to wear closed-toed shoes that you do not mind getting dirty, weather-appropriate clothing (long sleeves recommended). It is also important to bring your own refillable water bottle; Houston Parks Board will have a water cooler that volunteers are welcome to refill from!
Parking for the event will be street parking, with the above address taking you to the location along the street where volunteers can park.
