Faith Perspectives Panel: Faith & Water

Date/Time
1/11/2026
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM Central
Event Description
Sunday, Jan. 11, 3 p.m. central, online
Water is the foundation of life, and a basic human right. The Organization for Economic Co-operation
and Development states that freshwater resources are of major environmental, economic and social
importance and that the ocean is vital for human activities and well-being. But, issues of water pollution
and scarcity put this precious resource in peril. The Interfaith Environmental Network of Houston invites
you to hear multiple faith perspectives on the topic of Faith & Water. A panel of speakers of a variety of
faith backgrounds will each address this topic through the lens of their faith. An opportunity for Q&A
with the panel will follow. People of all faiths are encouraged to attend, as are representatives of local
environmental non-profits that would like to work with people of faith on environmental issues.  Please
join us!  This event has been organized by the Interfaith Environmental Network of Houston, which acts
to empower the faith community in the greater Houston area to act and advocate on behalf of the
environment. Register for this event on www.eventbrite.com at:
