American Youthworks Texas Conservation Corps (TXCC) is hosting a Green Wave Clean-Up Event on Friday, January 30, at Freed Art Nature Park from 10am to noon. Due to limited parking, volunteers will park at Woodland Park. See the event signup page for details.
This event is part of our ongoing Green Wave Initiative. Led by TXCC participants, the Green Wave Initiative combines community cleanup events with environmental education. Come pick up litter with us! Attend our events to help improve neighborhood health, reduce flood hazards and illegal waste disposal, and to enhance green space accessibility.
• All ages are welcome!
• Closed shoes are required
• Gloves, grabbers, and safety vests are provided
• Pants are recommended
