Event Description
Here in the Houston area, we are lucky to be on one of the major spring migration pathways for birds. Birds can become massively disoriented by outdoor lighting at night as they fly over and can go off course or even die. Please turn out all outdoor lights during this time. Let's help our feathered friends either travel safely through or come home to Texas by turning out non-essential lights after dark.
