Event Description
On April 4th, enjoy FREE admission to all of Houston Audubon’s High Island sanctuaries—home to nearly 400 bird species and a must-visit destination for bird lovers around the world. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious, our staff and volunteers will be out all day to help you spot wildlife and answer your questions.

Free events:
10 AM: Birding 101 with Pete Deichmann at Morse Field Station
10 AM: Guided Walk at Bolivar Flats Shorebird Sanctuary (meet on beach at bollards)
11 AM: Rookery Talk on the McGovern Canopy Walkway at Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary
