Trees For Houston in partnership with Houston Audubon will be teaching a Birding 101 class

Birds are all around us, from our backyards to local parks. No matter where you live, you can observe birds, which makes birding a fun hobby you can do anywhere, anytime. Learn the basics of bird identification at Birding 101 with Houston Audubon! You’ll get an understanding of the field marks that birders use to recognize different species and be on your way to becoming a birder! This is a free hybrid event but registration is required, In person participants will reiceve a Beautyberry shrub!

This class, in partnership with Houston Audubon and taught by Christine Wehrli, will be offered both in person and virtually. In-person attendees will receive a free bird-friendly bush, the American Beautyberry! Please only sign up if you plan to attend, space is limited, and no-shows take spots away from others.
