Event Description
How can we help save native prairies right here at home? Join us for a week of learning and exploring native habitats, urban restoration projects, and the mosaics of our ecosystems!

Join the Native Prairies Association of Texas, the Environmental Institute of Houston, and conservation partners for a week of prairie activities, including hiking, birding, insect studies, nature journaling, green careers presentations, and more!

Locations include Deer Park Prairie (NPAT), University of Houston – Clear Lake (EIH), Armand Bayou Nature Center, and Baytown Nature Center.

Cost: Free
Age range: 13-17
Maximum 12 campers per week
Campers will need to provide their own lunches
Campers will need transportation to Deer Park Prairie and field trip locations. More information will be provided in the registration process. 

Schedule: Weekday Camp
Monday-Friday: 8:30 am-1:30 pm
Session 1: June 1-5
Session 2: June 22-26

Free. Space is Limited. Registration is Required – after initial registration, we will reach out with further details for confirmation and final registration.
